Midland Christian School is the Great Lakes Bay Region's
ONLY classical Christian school

Midland Christian School was founded in 1960 to serve the Great Lakes Bay Region. The school offers a rigorous curriculum for Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade students as well as preschool programs for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Midland Christian School seeks to individually challenge children at all levels and to teach them how to learn. We believe that the most effective way to create both an academically rigorous and Christ-centered school is through the method known as the classical Christian approach to education. All subjects are taught as part of an integrated whole with Scripture at the center as students are encouraged to become “thinking Christians” and to develop a solid biblical worldview.

Classical education provides the tools of learning which incorporate the Trivium’s stages of grammar, logic and rhetoric in traditional subjects as well as Latin, logic, art, music and physical education. This well-rounded approach to learning is part of what makes a Midland Christian School education truly extraordinary.
