Parent Auxillary
In order to ensure that needs are being met from the perspectives of parents, students, teachers and the school, Midland Christian School has established the Parent Auxiliary.
The Parent Auxiliary functions such as the planning committee for school wide events such as the teacher appreciation luncheon, Christmas cookie plates, and helping with other school events.
The PA has an annual fund raiser of the spring Rummage Sale. The sale of MCS wear along with community rewards programs and the box tops and Campbell soup labels collections are other fund raisers used to financially support the events that the Parent Auxiliary sponsor.
Parents that have a broader vision or concern for the work of MCS are encouraged to meet with other like-minded parents on the Parent Auxiliary committee. The Parent Auxiliary meets on a quarterly basis to discuss and review yearly goals and activities. These meetings are open to the general school community. The PA has a chairperson, co-chairperson, treasurer and a secretary on the leadership team. The Parent Auxiliary functions under the direction of the School Board, and act as a liaison to facilitate communication between the two organizations.
